A Message from Samantha Grab, Head of School

Help us create a vibrant, naturalized area with native plants, inviting pathways, and cozy seating nooks. Our outdoor classroom will have discovery zones for sensory play and art exploration, areas for gardening and environmental learning, and space for open-ended imaginative play.

Outdoor experiences foster exploration, creativity, and curiosity while promoting physical activity, social skills, and emotional well-being. Children engage with nature, develop problem-solving skills, and build resilience. Outdoor play also enhances cognitive development, attention span, and academic performance. We want to create a space at Weekday School that connects children to nature and fosters a love for learning and exploration!
